The pub bore is mercilessly skewered in this witty pop punk ditty, from south London trio I, Ludicrous, who are still going today.
I reckon Preposterous Tales could have got to No.1, if the singer could actually sing and the producer had done a bit more than just press record at the beginning and stop at the end. But then that would have spoilt it.
